Soooooo, I definitely want to rave on this for a second!! I have to say that Home Depot Kid’s Workshop game is on point!!! Every first Saturday of the month at your local store they hold a kids workshop to make a fun wooden project. Let me tell you, They’re not messing around!! The kids are working with real tools: hammer, nails, wood glue, paint etc.
This past weekend the theme was Easter…the lil ladies made the cutest Wooden Bunny Baskets. The kit and instructions were super easy and fun to follow. And of course true to fashion, the girls forgot their orange aprons!! (we were lucky to get out of the house in one piece) When the kids go for their first project they get their very own orange apron with their name on it!! Quite Official!! After they complete their project they get a certificate and a pin to display on the apron!!
This has probably been one of my most favorite projects they have ever made!! The ladies were so excited to tell everyone how they made these baskets “All by themselves.” To see the excitement and accomplishment in their eyes is the best reward for a mama.
Just look how cute the finished project came out!! When the girls showed their finished project they were given some easter grass and candy to put into their baskets! God Job Home Depot!!
Hope to see y’all next month!!
