It’s time to go Glamping!
Poor daddy, lol. With four girls in the house he is stuck on having to rough it the pink and sparkly style. I just recently published a fun DIY Tent post for Albuquerque Mom’s Blog. ABQ Moms Blog DIY Tent. Since the DIY tent post has been out I have been asked a lot of questions…you know, the who, the what and why?? I’m going to answer all of them in a fun blog post with cute photos.
The fun part of this extremely girly theme was finding some Inspo. What is more girly than Camp Beverly Hills?!?! I definitely did not want to break the bank going to that extent…lol. We did take a couple ideas from the movie… the first was our sweet and simple Welcome Sign!!
The Invite… What can I say about the invite.
How stinking cute are these post cards?!?! I love a great invite. If you ask me, my favorite part of any party is the invitation. It sets the tone for the party and the possibilities are endless. When you watch all these Summer Camp movies they all showed kids writing home to tell the parents what a great time they are having. We decided to invite everyone with ours!!
When each little girl showed up to the party, they were able to find their own colorful tent by the sweet chalkboard signs. These tents have been the cutest party favors to date! Not only were they super easy and relatively un-expensive to make, they were also very versatile! They could be used indoors as well as out, and were easy to take apart for easy storage. We have had so much use of ours so far!
P.S. Do you like my makeshift campfire? throw some rocks in a circle add some wood on top and put red, orange and yellow tissue paper to the middle.
Yummm…Cookout!!
The food was sooooo easy… just think what would you want to eat in the wilderness!! Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Chips…anything you could eat with your hands. Remember, were roughin it here?. Speakin of roughing it…the cupcakes were easy to transform. Just add a graham cracker, piece of chocolate and voila, Smore’s Cupcakes!!
Who can resist a Sunning Smore? Hehehehe!!
When all was said and done with this amazing party, these little tents have provided many hours of fun!! Remember…the details on making these gems is at the link above??.
Happy Glamping Friends!!
