Halloween is here…Let’s make it a Safe and Fun one.
There is so much preparation that goes into this fun Holiday. It’s so easy to forget about the night itself! I’m not talking about the costumes or the candy…but, S A F E T Y!! This post may be repetitive to some. However, discussing safety is always a good refresher and a teaching opportunity when your kids are old enough to understand. As a mom, I have overlooked some of these… and need to start introducing them to my girls. Here are a couple tips I found most important…
Lets keep our Little ghouls and Goblins SAFE This Halloween
☾Trick or Treat in groups
Only visit well lit houses★
◆Take a small flashlight, glow sticks or reflective tape (dollar store has both!) to be seen at night
Only enter a house if with a trusted adult❤︎
✦Cross at crosswalks
Walk, don’t run ✤
❥Make sure an adult checks your candy before you eat it
Stay on the sidewalk✖︎
I hope these tips and tricks will help keep your little candy monsters a little safer this halloween! Have fun and enjoy the night friends!

Oh these are great suggestions!
Thank you!! I had forgotten about a few of them myself…lol.
This is a great list. Saving this for next year!
yes, always helpful!!
These are great Halloween safety basics for all ages! It’s funny, because I wrote a similar post a few weeks ago, but you can tell I’m in a poorly-lit neighborhood b/c the focus of that post (and my big fear every year) is blinky lights and reflectors so the kids can be SEEN!
Yes…I don’t think us parents can hear it enough. Honestly, I just this year implemented a couple of them. #momoftheyear??♀️
It’s so simple to keep our children safe, but in a rush we foroget that it’s the most important part of trick or treating! Thank you for these tips!
Absolutely luv… My girls are 8 and 5 and I just started a couple of these ??♀️
