What can make the start of the holiday season more fun than an annual Grinch Dinner!
Being that the movie Dr. Seuss How The Grinch Stole Christmas is one of our family favorites, we decided to take it a step further… A Grinch Dinner! Yassss!! You have total creative freedom with this, anything and everything goes. The more “off the wall” or Dr. Seussey the better.
A fun and cute way to host a themed dinner, that even dad will love!
First, let’s talk entertainment! You can choose from Dr. Seuss books or movies… depending on your kids ages you have many options. We started off with the book when the kids were babies, reading to them was the absolute best! It was easy to transition to How the Grinch Stole Christmas cartoon when the girls were a little older. Now that they are grown we watch the Jim Carey version as a family! Now that you have the entertainment covered…
Let’s talk Menu
Are you ready? Let’s FEAST FEAST FEAST on “Roast Beast” “Who Hash” “Cindy Lou Salad” and “Who Pudding” (and all without cooking).
- Roast Beast or rotisserie chicken.
- Frozen bag of Who Hash or O’brien potatoes.
- Bag of Cindy Lou Salad w dressing.
- Container of Who Pudding or Blue Bell Peppermint Ice Cream.
- Optional-Grinch Heart Rice Krispies Treats.
Seee…easy right? You my friend, can pull this off in a couple hours and get the “Mom of the Year” award! And remember, you can customize it any way you can. Add fun red & green dishes, furry grinch hats, candy or grinch place cards. The sky is the limit!
Pssst…Did I mention a grinch Martini (for mom and dad of course)
