Pumpkin Punches for Halloween Independence
Let me ask you…When you think of pumpkin carving, what do you think of? Well, as a parent I always thought of a possible trip to the ER if not for the kids but for hubby.lol. We are now enjoying Pumpkin Punches for Halloween Independence in my kiddos, and heck the adults too.
Now that my girls are 9 and 5 years old, they want to do everything themselves. Including their own pumpkins. Up until now we have always given them markers and paint to express their creativity. Now they can do it all themselves from start to finish, from the design to the execution. Well almost anything…we still have to carve the top off for them. At least we won’t have any trips to ER!, total #momwin in my book.
So what is this amazing product you are wondering. Pumpkin Punches! This kit of indolence has everything you need for your kiddo to create and execute their perfect pumpkin. Well, parents will still have to cut the top off. But, hey that’s the least of our worries.
Bonus, while the kids are busy making theirs this frees us up to make a masterpiece for ourselves!
How does it work?
Pumpkin Punches are basically cookie cutters for your pumpkin. The kids plan out their favorite jack-o-lantern face and start hammering away.
What you’ll need:
Pumkins
Pumpkin Punches
Rubber Mallet (or hammer, careful though, the hammer can bend the cutters)
THATS IT!!!
Add a Candle and you’re done!! Quick, Easy, Simple…need I say more?!?!

Yes Cyndi! me too. I can finally relax and let them have a little “safe” fun!!
What a great idea! Carving pumpkins is always an adventure and tricky when it comes to giving kids sharp objects. This is such a wonderful way to do it!
I agree Marysa! I was always one of those helicopter mom who ended up doing the pumpkin form kids because I was sooo scared of them getting hurt. Now, they can do it all by themselves!
